Presented in collaboration with Footscray Community Arts Centre and MPAVILION, Afrocentric Reflections was a musical montage showcasing the work produced during isolation by some of Melbourne’s up-and-coming creatives. This experience aimed to provide an introspective view of our collective journey during this unique time. The challenges of 2020 impacted how artists created and shared their works, allowing for a new form of expressing ideas as they tried to tell the story of our time. This concert celebrated having made it through the pandemic and served as a soundtrack to our unique experience.
